SMU football

9 players for the SMU Mustangs football team have lost their scholarships and wont be returning next season to the school nor the team. The only released statements made was that they failed to adhere to the teams rules and expectations. What happened to the days when you just did your part and took advantage of what blessings you were given. My dad graduated a bluechip in football, pretty much picked the colelge he wanted to attend and his stories of the coaches were out of this world. Ear hole checks were one of the many things they did which was where the coaches walked around during practice and stuck their finger in your ear hole and if they felt hair you had you had a rigorous workout that day. Something so small as no drugs or curfew on game nights seem rediculously easy to upkeep compared to wanting to fit in the style of the seventies and have your shaggy hair. Theres so many rules put on coaches now its just a bit rediculous. I mean if you had a coach like the coach from Varsity Blues then thats crossing the line but for the majority texas football has maintained a good stature of respect for their training in young men. I just dont understand why some people cant keep with the rules when you are being given a full ride scholarship. I'd do pretty much anything to get a full ride scholarship and i would also do anything to keep it

  1. PT- Glad that you're writing stuff, I especially liked the Kevin Bacon review- very telling about you, and intense. Nice job. Now, how about some pics? This is a photo blog after all... Images of your favorites would be good, images from the portraits would be good. Oh, and Jan Saudek I believe is a man, find out for me... and rediculous that you say a lot is spelled 'ridiculous'... keep writing! v
