Under the Sea

This story is very interesting. These sea farms are harvested deep down in the ocean away from polution. These fish are raised in HUGE pods tied to the ocean floor right off teh Panam Coast and Pueto Rico Coast. This is taken a step to cleaner foods and smarter planning for future problems. These farms sell the fish to the U.S. after tehy have grown in this environment with only the best nutrients. This is a BRILLIANT idea and a really cool process

  1. There are certainly a lot of concerns with this form of farming - even if it is awe-inspiring simply from a technological perspective. Check out our report "Fishy Farms: The Problems with Open Ocean Aquaculture" at: http://www.fwwatch.org/fish/pubs/reports/fishy-farms
